Beyond the Classroom

Learning outside the classroom is about raising young people's achievement through an organised, powerful approach to learning in which direct experience is of prime importance. Meaningful learning occurs through acquiring skills through real life hands-on activities.

MDCC staff work hard to achieve this by enriching student experiences that are authentic and build on classroom learning. Regardless of where learning outside the classroom takes place, the purpose is the same. Give students a real world learning experience that will set them up for success in life beyond school.
